History
Chere Amie Yacht Charters (CAYC) Founder and CEO Dr. Chauhan purchased the Chere Amie in 2008 and soon started CAYC. CAYC is recognized in San Diego for its exceptional commitment to affordability and quality.
He originally wanted CAYC to be a ground-breaking venue for continuing medical education (CME) in the San Diego community. To this intent, a number of scientific conferences and therapeutic yoga retreats have been an integral addition to CAYC’s cruise offerings. This is on top of the many weddings, receptions, birthdays, corporate outings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and other events we host throughout the year.
Furthermore, the Chere Amie has been featured in the 34th America’s Cup in San Francisco, playing host to executives from companies like Oracle and Louis Vuitton.
